Here’s a quick and creamy side dish that’s always a hit: Honey Butter Skillet Corn. It’s sweet, buttery, slightly salty, and comes together in just minutes – perfect for weeknights, holidays, or BBQs.


🌽 Honey Butter Skillet Corn

🕐 Prep Time: 5 minutes

🍳 Cook Time: 10 minutes

🍽️ Serves: 4–6


Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 (16 oz) bag frozen corn (no need to thaw) — or about 3 cups fresh or canned corn

  • 2 oz cream cheese (about 1/4 block), cubed

  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions:

  1. Heat the skillet:
    In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and honey together.

  2. Add the corn:
    Stir in the corn and cook for about 5–7 minutes, until heated through and slightly golden in spots.

  3. Make it creamy:
    Add the cream cheese and stir until it melts and coats the corn. This gives it a creamy, rich texture.

  4. Season:
    Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.

  5. Serve warm:
    Transfer to a serving bowl or keep it in the skillet for a rustic presentation.


💡 Optional Add-Ins:

  • A pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika for a kick

  • A squeeze of lime juice for brightness

  • Fresh chopped herbs like parsley or chives

  • Use jalapeño cream cheese for a spicy twist
