Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza Made with Crescent Rolls

Here’s a super easy and delicious dessert recipe for Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza using crescent rolls – like a warm, gooey cinnamon roll turned into a sweet pizza. It’s perfect for quick treats or brunches.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Optional Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1–2 tablespoons milk

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out the dough:
    Unroll the crescent dough and press it into a rectangle or circle, pinching seams together to seal. You can make it round like a pizza or just keep it as a flat rectangle.

  3. Brush with butter:
    Mix the melted butter and vanilla extract (if using), then brush it evenly over the dough.

  4. Add cinnamon-sugar:
    In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered dough.

  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly crisp around the edges.

  6. Optional – Add glaze:
    While the pizza bakes, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over warm pizza right after it comes out of the oven.

  7. Cool slightly, slice into wedges or squares, and serve warm.

  • Add chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch.

  • For extra sweetness, sprinkle a few mini chocolate chips before baking.

  • Use crescent roll dough sheets (without perforations) for a smoother base.
