Here’s a delicious recipe for Chicken Wings with Mushrooms:

Ingredients:

  • 10-12 chicken wings (drumettes or flats)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 cups mushrooms (cremini, button, or a mix), sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken Wings:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme. Make sure they’re evenly coated.

2. Bake the Wings:

  • Arrange the wings on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden.

3. Cook the Mushrooms:

  • While the wings are baking, heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onions and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  • Add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are browned and tender.

4. Make the Sauce:

  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it reduce by half, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the heavy cream and stir. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

5. Combine the Wings and Sauce:

  • Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and place them in the skillet with the mushroom sauce.
  • Toss the wings in the sauce to coat them well.

6. Serve:

  • Serve the chicken wings with mushrooms on a platter, garnished with fresh parsley.
